LIZEN and Consortium Sign Contract for 11,024 Billion VND Expressway Project

(According to sggp.org.vn) – On April 14th, in Lang Son City, the People's Committee of Lang Son Province and the investor consortium, including LIZEN JSC, Deo Ca Construction JSC (Deo Ca Group), and 568 Construction JSC, signed a contract to implement the Huu Nghi Border Gate – Chi Lang Expressway project. The project will be carried out under the public-private partnership (PPP) model, with a BOT contract.

Previously, on April 11, the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee approved the selection of the investor for this BOT project. The expressway is 43 km long, with a total investment of 11.024 trillion VND. The project is funded by 5.495 trillion VND from the state budget (3.5 trillion from the central government and over 2 trillion from the local budget) and 5.529 trillion VND from the investors.

According to Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Province, this is a national key project, and all preparations for the investment have been completed.

The Huu Nghi Border Gate – Chi Lang Expressway runs through the districts of Chi Lang, Cao Loc, Van Lang, and Lang Son City, with a total length of 60 km. The 43 km segment from Huu Nghi Border Gate to Chi Lang is designed with 4 lanes for motor vehicles and a roadbed width of which is 17 meters. The 17 km segment connecting Tan Thanh – Coc Nam border gates will have 2 lanes for motor vehicles and a roadbed whose width- 14.5 meters."
